Week two of the semester is a good
time to evaluate your things. Did you go to all your classes? Have
your submitted all your homework so far? Have you been taking care
of yourself? If yes, great – keep it up. If no, fix it! Do not
continue down this path. We are only two weeks in. You can make
necessary adjustments to these less desirable practices now.
Lately I’ve been talking to several students about the Cinderella
rule. We all remember that at midnight Cinderella had to leave the
Ball. Well, at midnight you have to go to bed! Think about it… any
studying done after midnight is not effective. Some of you have
told me that homework done after midnight is incorrect. Stop
depriving yourself of sleep your body needs. You cannot effectively
learn on a 3 hours of sleep – this
is not an alternative fact.
